Ahhhh yes the toughest question, both are awesome but witch is better, of course this is my opinion.
I watched more anime than i read manga, i watched about 60 anime or more and i still have a lot on my plate to watch, my first anime was naruto and dbz, i watched those anime when i was a kid, but when i was 15 i started watching anime a lot, i started watching fairy tail a lot, then after that gurren lagann and then came other anime, i was so happy to find something to watch because there was nothing on tv, i feel in love with anime i enjoy every second i watch anime. But there is one thing, if manga didn't exist, there would be no anime. First comes manga and then if the manga is really good it gets a show (anime) and usually manga has a lot of more story in it and it is not censored so much. I read 1 manga and im currently reading nisekoi.
If you asked me this question when i was 16, i would've with out thinking told you that anime is better, but just one manga made me start thinking, is this better than the other, both are awesome on there on way.
Let me put it in this way, you have a pizza, manga is like the whole pizza, there is a lot of in it and its large, anime on the other hand is like two or three slices of the pizza but its more tasty but its shorter. anime has awesome soundtracks, voice actors, atmosphere, but when i start to read manga i just fade from this world and go in to the story, its really deep, when i stop i need a little bit to come back to this world. Both manga and anime are awesome to me and hentai too, but i still don't know witch is better. Im gonna have to say that i like anime a little bit more than manga because i watched more anime than manga, but who knows, i think that soon i will like manga more than anime. But for one thing im certain is that im happy that it exists, this like movies and books, i love movies but not so much as anime and manga, because movies are short, i like it when there is alot to see, books on the other hand i hate, since when i was a kid i hated books and i still do, im not saying books suck don't get me wrong, but i just can't read them. Anyways back to the topic, we all have are opinions on what is better than the other, some like manga more and some like anime more, im gonna keep it as anime but i think i will change my mind soon enough. Again this is my opinion. Probably gonna post more about this topic.
